This is so cool :heart: Ah, not too sure how you animated this, but it seems to accelerate upwards after the first bounce? So you probably need a separate keyframe at the top of the bounce to separate the motions, so that you decelerate to the top and accelerate as you come down again. (Unless, of course, you scripted the motion in Actionscript, in which case acceleration should remain downwards at all times.)

Thanks! Yeah, I saw the acceleration too, but couldn't for my life figure out how to un-accelerate it xD;; I'll keep that in mind though the next time I try to redo this, after some more practice getting the hang of Flash so I can go from one step to another without looking back at the tutorial after each thing I do :'D

I just tried it out, if you ease in (negative value) on the way down and ease out (positive value) on the way up, it should look a bit more natural :) haha, I'm looking forward to seeing more Flash from you, especially if it's tennis-related =D

Neg/pos values are for action script? The tutorial walked me through just dragging the symbol around and shifting paths, so any action script knowledge I have right now is purely copypaste xD;

When you add a motion tween, there's a slider for 'easing' in the properties bar, which adds acceleration. You can go from -100 to 100, so acceleration or deceleration of varying magnitudes. I don't think you need Actionscript for this at all, except to make the button work. Haha, copy/paste is precisely how I learnt Actionscript!

Looks great :D
one tip though, try to use a bit squash and stretch where the ball hits the ground and the top of the arch to make it a bit more better and realistic :)

Thanks for the tip! I was planning on fixing that sort of things up, as well as adding details like shading to the ball and blurring the shadow, but then the file merged together and I can't figure out how to get the timeline stuff back xD;; But I'll definitely keep working on it! o/
